The Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers - Industry Applications Society  are pleased to announce the  next meeting. Information regarding the meeting is as follows:

The presentation will be about the evolution of sports lighting technology.  The presenters will show methods to reduce spill and glare and improve the quality and quantity of light on the field.  They will also discuss examples of how they address “Green” and “LEED” issues in sports lighting and give project examples that improve light levels and decrease energy consumption.

Terri Paddy and Mike Limpach of Musco Lighting                 

 Terri Paddy is a graduate of Towson University, with a degree in Physical Education with a concentration in Sports Management.  Terri is also a Certified Parks & Recreation Professional.  She has worked with local government agencies, high schools, private schools and colleges on sports lighting testing and evaluation, project management, lighting design & budget estimating.

Mike Limpach is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a degree in Parks and Recreation Resources.  Mike worked with engineers, parks and recreation professionals and facility owners over the past 12 years to design and install over 1000 lighted athletic facilities including installations for the Charlotte Motor Speedway and NFL stadiums.
