Description: |
Electrical Distribution System Fault Analysis This course will cover the calculation of fault currents along electrical distribution system networks. Faults covered include 3-phase, single-line-to-ground, line-to-line and line-to-line-ground. The impact of the calculated X/R ratio will also be investigated with respect to equipment ratings and selection. Electrical equipment short circuit ratings and X/R ratios will also be discussed. Equipment includes: panel boards, motor control centers, switchgear, disconnect switches, circuit breakers and fuses.
